Headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley, Earthbaby was founded by three families who’d had it with the huge numbers of “disposable” diapers being dumped into the Bay Area’s landfills. There had to be a better way, and they collectively decided to do something about it.
The Earth Baby business model is simple:
- They deliver compostable diapers and wipes
- They pick up the soiled diapers and wipes
- They compost the diapers and wipes safely and professionally
EarthBaby’s goal is ambitious, but very straightforward. They aim to eliminate disposable diapers and wipes from landfills. And they’re doing just that, one customer at a time. In fact, last week alone, Earthbaby composted 16,040 pounds and to date has diverted over 358,002 pounds of diapers from Bay Area landfills!
When Earthbaby’s Founder and CEO, Mark Siminoff, realized that the Bottoms Up could help him offer his customers an alternative to compostable wipes that would still allow him to achieve his goal, a partnership ensued very quickly.
If you have friends in the San Francisco Bay Area that share the Earth Baby and Bottoms Up vision of reducing/eliminating waste sent to landfills, have them check out Earthbaby!
